SUMMER 2026 Religious itinerary 8 days / 7 nights DAY 1: ARRIVAL ► Distances Meeting with our tour guide at the airport and transfer to the hotel in Larnaca or Limassol. DAY 2 : PAPHOS (CURIUM - PETRA TOU ROMIOU - AYIA PARASKEVI - COLONA OF SAINT PAUL - MOSAICS) ► Distances First stop in Curium, an important city - state, today considered one of the the most spectacular archaeological sites on the island; visit of the Greek amphitheater - Roman and the house of Eustolius, originally a private Roman villa, later, during the early Christian period, a public center for the recreational activities. Continue to Petra tou Romiou birthplace of Venus and the church of Agia Paraskevi, one of the most beautiful Cypriot churches of the XV century surmounted by five domes that form a cross and that inside it preserves some beautiful frescoes of the fifteenth century and continuation with the visit of the church of Panagia Crysopolitisa built in the 12th century over the ruins of the largest basilica of the early Byzantine period on the island; within the complex you can admire the column of San Paolo where according to tradition, St. Paul was scourged before the Roman governor Sergio Paolo did converted to Christianity. next stop at the famous Paphos Mosaics whose maximum example can be found inside the House of Dionysos, whose flooring is considered one of the most beautiful in the Mediterranean area. Last stop at the tombs of the Kings which date back to the 4th century BC. DAY 3: FROM BYZANTINE ART TO THE ICON OF SAINT LUCA AYIOS IOANNIS - ARCHANGELOS MICHELE - KYKKOS ► Distances Departure for the village of Pedoulas where we will visit the frescoed church of the Archangel Michael, erected in 1474. Continue to the village of Kalopanayiotis where we will visit the church of Ayios Ioanni Baptist, with excellent frescoes from the 13th and 15th centuries. Originally a monastery today and a complex of two churches and a chapel from different periods hotel in the afternoon. Continue to the monastery of Kykkos the most famous and rich monastery of the island. Founded in 1100 and dedicated to Virgin Mary, has one of the existing icons attributed to San Luca. DAY 4: NICOSIA-KERYNIA-PELLAPAIS ► Distances Departure for Nicosia capital of the island. Continue to the church of Panagia of Podithou in Galata. Last visit of the 12th century church of Asinou. Whose frescoes are among the best Byzantine examples. DAY 6 : SAINT LAZZAROS – FAMAGOUSTA – SALAMINA► Distances First visit to the church of St. Lazaros patron saint of Larnaca .Kition became his second home after his resurrection by Christ and lived here for another 30 years. He was ordained bishop of Kition by saints Barnabas and Marco .. In the 9th century a magnificent church was built on his tomb by the emperor Leo VI. Departure for Famagusta: upon arrival visit of the medieval city enclosed in mighty defensive walls. First visit to Salamis, the city where he was born and was killed St. Barnabas. Visit of the theater, amphitheater, spa and gym. Continue for the visit of the convent mausoleum of San Barnaba, founded in the fifth century. Continue to the castle of Othello, the Venetian governor of Cyprus.
